Off Topic - The Day I Met Superman
I had a very surreal experience when I was younger - I think it was 1991. I was working away doing some art "home work" (yes it was that long ago) when a couple of guys started looking over my shoulder and commenting on my work.
Anyway, a quick conversation followed, I do this, I do that, blah blah etc. They mentioned they worked in a similar industry and asked to borrow a piece of paper. At this time I didn't know what was really happening, so was happy to be amused. They both spent a couple of minutes doodling away and then gave me this:
You can imagine the look on my face when I realised that they were the artist, Jon Bogdanove, and inker, Dennis Janke, of the the Superman Man of Steel comics!
It's one moment of my life I will never forget and I have signed artwork of the Doomsday edition. Lucky me!
